CREDIT
How good is your credit?
The credit you give yourself, I mean.
Mhm.
Give yourself credit for bouncing back.
Give yourself credit for understanding ( more so [inner]standing) that your journey will consist of mud, heavy rains and even crazy lightning that causes power outages.
If you haven’t yet come to the realization that the temporary pains are needed, keep reading.
Tell me, where do lotuses grow?
Where do they function and flourish? – mud.
They’re so beautiful though, right?
They’re stunning. However, you’ll never catch a lotus growing in a clean meadow. That’s just not where the growth happens, that’s not where its magic happens.
Plants. Don’t they need water?
See, I’m not just referring to the the plants in your house that you water (though we love those as well). I’m referring to the ones still firmly rooted in the Earth. The ones that in time of high temperature or drought, WILL require heavy rain for growth and balance. The ones that require more than a water can.
What did we miss?
Ahh, yes. The “dreaded” power outages.
What happens then?
The light goes out, so you’re in the dark. You’re scared too. I mean hey, you can’t see shit!
But my love, this is where the real soul work happens- when you learn to maneuver when you can’t even see.
In this moment you have to trust yourself.
Not even just your outer body parts. Trust your intuition, knowledge and memory of what your surroundings feel like. (trust the dark too!)
As opposed to being afraid of the dark; you embrace it, you become it.
When you become something, there’s no way you can be the opposite of what it is, simply because you are now exactly what it is.
Believe it or not, there’s light in that.
See now all of a sudden, the darkness is still darkness but you see light, you feel light, you are light. You embody both. (wow. look at you!)
Maybe I was getting high off the breeze I inhaled when I wrote this or...
Maybe
Just maybe
Maybe this is the sign you needed to know that you are definitely on the right path despite the hiccups. (or what may seem to be)
Give yourself credit for bouncing back.
Give yourself credit for understanding ( more so [inner]standing) that your journey will consist of mud, heavy rains and even crazy lightning that causes power outages.
